A little something about the Artist.
I love my home-town. My first job was here. I graduated high school here. My husband and I were married here. Our children were born and raised here. Old Town Orange is a pocket of the American heartland smack in the middle of the Los Angeles/Orange County/Southern California scene ripe with historic architecture and an amazing close knit community of 140,000 people; the biggest small town you’ll ever encounter.
Marriage and three amazing children later, now retired from running a children's youth theater ministry at our church - KIDS Musical Theater, on the Board of four non-profits, and finally having the time to pursue my art on a full-time basis. All artists are constantly learning, and my work has been finding it's way into homes of paying clients, so it is time for it to have a proper presence on the inter-webs and here it is!
Our second home town is Fox Island, Washington. We purchased a vacation/retirement here in 2017 and in 2019 I moved my art studio to the loft above our detached garage. It's an amazing space that is such a blessing and I find so much inspiration in the natural beauty of Washington state.
I adore color and I approach painting by trying to express a sense of joy in creation. I'll be happy to share some of the things I have learned along the way and my hopes for the future! Keep arting!!
